The Kenyan Community Interdenominational Church (KCIC) was founded in 2009. KCIC is a Christian fellowship for Kenyan immigrants living in the Pacific Northwest.

As ambassadors of Christ here in the U.S., and in Kenya, we desired to commune with each other and rally around a church community to hear and learn from the word of God. Within a few years of its start, the KCIC attracted a passionate congregation that expressed a strong commitment to praising God and spreading His word in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere.

The Church has succeeded in attaining its mission of encouraging Kenyans in the Pacific Northwest to embrace the Christian Faith, live in harmony with one another and being good ambassadors of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The Church Committee runs the day-to-day affairs of the Church. It is headed by Pastor Charity Kisang'a, and comprises of ten members elected by the congregation every two years.

Ministries are the backbone of the Church. Currently, the Church has four Ministries: Men’s, Women’s, Youth’s and Children’s Ministries. These Ministries play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing of the congregation. They are the foundations upon which the congregation receives spiritual nourishment. Since the Church strongly believes in the spirit of being our brothers’ keepers, Ministries act as the launching pad to help members in need.

The church currently has 100 members. To contact Pastor Charity call (206) 852-2024
