Pastor Charity Kisang'a is a founding member and pastor of the Kenyan Community Interdenominational Church (KCIC) in Seattle, USA.

Having received her calling from God in 2000, she teamed up with other Kenyan immigrants in Seattle to start a multicultural and cross-denominational Christian fellowship. The fellowship aimed at bringing Kenyans together and inculcating in them Christian values. 

She was born in and has lived part of her adult life in Kenya. In addition to her pastoral duties, Pastor Charity teaches Special Education in the Seattle School District. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Kenya; a Master of Arts (MA) in Linguistics from Lancaster University, United Kingdom; and a Doctorate in Ministry from Hill University, USA. 

In addition, Pastor Charity is the Secretary of the Seattle-Mombasa Sister City Association, an organization that promotes cultural and trade co-operation between Mombasa City (Kenya) and the City of Seattle (USA).

Pastor Charity currently resides in Seattle, Washington, USA. She has one son and two grandchildren.

Pastor Charity’s passion and mission is to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. She is humbled to be a servant of the Most High. She loves working for the Kingdom, whatever the circumstances. Her desire and prayer is to see more people know and come to Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:58: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
